Braiding with Ribbon

So today my girls were looking on the princesshairstyles.com website and picked out what they wanted me to try.  When I saw it I was thinking it would be very difficult to do, but it wasn't hard at all much to my surprise! Welp, here's how it turned out.

If you go to princesshairstyles.com, she demonstrats how to do it! I love that website!!

NoAh'S tHe BiG 2

On August 27th two years ago Noah Nicholas decided to join our family!! He probably didn't know what he was getting himself into but there's no turning back now Lol! I just can't believe he's already 2, they grow up so fast.  So here's a little of what we did for his b-day.  Ummm.....really nothing but invite G'ma and G'pa Ayling, Abuelita and Abuelito Medrano and of course tia Aybet, Yanet, and tio Jose over for a little carne asada with rice and beans! MMM mmm mmm was it good ;-)

Then I attempted to make a 2 tier chocolate cake with chocolate filling and fondant for the first time...this is what it turned out like...

Okay, as you can tell, I was having a hard time working with the fondant so it didn't turn out all that great. Yeah really, it sucks.  Oh well, it's the thought that counts.

Here's my Big boy as we sing happy birthday!

He got quite a few gifts but we couldn't seem to get him to take pics while he was opening them.  Thanks to the family who got him the toys and clothes, he's already enjoying them!
After a long day of eating, playing and visiting, Noah went and put himself to bed with a chupone and cup to hold lol.  He was pooped!!

I'm so glad you decided to join our family Noah! We wouldn't be complete without you! Happy, Happy Birthday! We all love you Noah Nicholas!

Love,
Your silly family!

Back to School!

So the girls went back to school today! Alayna was so excited to hear that she has Mrs. Arteaga, who was Arieanna's first grade teacher.  Arieanna has Mrs. Miller, who seems really nice! Arieanna was a little nervous this morning cause she's afraid that second grade is going to be alot harder than first grade.  I think she'll do just fine, she's a great kid!! Anyhow, I already miss them already, during the summer they kept me good company and we were able to do alot of girl time together :-) It's cool though, now I'll get to spend more one on one time with my boys! I love these kids of mine!!

Who Stole the COOKIE from the Cookie Jar?

Arieanna stole the cookie from the cookie jar.

Who, me?
Yes, you!
Couldn't be!
Then who?

Alayna stole the cookie from the cookie jar.

Who, me?
Yes, you!
Couldn't be!
Then who?

Isaiah stole the cookie from the cookie jar.

Who, me?
Yes, you!
Couldn't be!
Then who?

Samuel stole the cookie from the cookie jar...

with the help of his older brother Noah! I snuck in to take a pic of Noah doing this after finding Sam's face covered in chocolate...

notice the stool in the first pic??? What a smart little "cookie"!
Then as soon as he saw me with the camera he put the cookie down and said "Cheese!"

Sam evidently knows how to get what he wants (with the help of his siblings)!

Prosser Aquatic Center

The other day we had the chance to go to the PAC with the Anderson's! It was a lot of fun and it was nice to be able to catch up with our friends, being that we've both have had a lot going on this summer.  Anyhow, here's how it went.

Of course, I forgot some snacks, so Carina saved the day and let us mooch off of her:-)

Later on I caught Sam getting into the pop tarts lol!

Sam trying out the water!

Awww...nice and refreshing!

Sam was really enjoying the water. He felt confident enough to crawl around in it!

I know you can barely see Isaiah, but that's him going down the kiddy slide!

Then Alayna finally got brave and went down too!

Noah wasn't scared, he just kept going and going until he couldn't reach no more! He's quite the little dare devil ;-)

In order to go on the bigger slides you have to pass a swimming test.  So, Arieanna practiced a little with Cami and gave it a whirl!

Going....

going...

done! Hooray, she passed!!

Thanks Carina for invited us to spend time with your family, we really enjoyed it!!

Arie and Laynie's Hairstyle's

This is a hairstyle Alayna came up with for me to do for church...

It's two twisties pulled back into a half ponytail, then made into a bun.  With the remaining hair, she wanted it curled into ringlets!

This one is so you can see the twisties. There is actually a twisty on the other side too but I didn't get a good angle of it.  Oh well, you get the gist!

As for Arieanna's, she wanted a topsy tail with a big fancy clip on the bottom of it.  The remaining of the hair she wanted a loose curl.

I Love doing my girls hair! It's a great way to bond with them and I love how they can create something of their own!

Fun Filled Weekend

So Manuel and I decided at last minute that we would go on a little family outing!! We went to Silverwood Theme Park and after that rented a hotel with a Triple Play Family fun park right next to it.  The kids had sooo much fun! We left little Samuel at home with Tia Yanet though so it would be a lot easier to handle the 4 oldest!! Let me tell ya, it was a lot easier cause Noah is a handful.  Anyhow, here's  how our trip went.

On our way there...

...and we're there!

Getting ready to get on the rides!

Manuel had to slip some dart's in before the rides!

Now the rides.

Ice Cream break.  It was soooo yummy!

I didn't get that many pics of the water park cause I was having tooo much fun swimming and it was a pain in the batooty to keep pulling the camera out when I was all wet.

Done at Silverwood and on to the hotel!

Well, at least we thought we were done until we saw Garfield and the carousel!

Silverwood was fun, but Manuel and I have decided that next time we go it will be a weekday instead of a weekend.  It was totally packed and hard to keep up on the kids cause they just wanted to take off and do their own thing.  Maybe when they get a little older it will be easier.
When we were looking for a hotel to stay in we found a Triple Play family fun park! I guess if we stayed in the Holiday Inn Express, we got a pretty good deal on the Triple Play for two days! It was awesome, there was an arcade, bowling, go karts, lazer tag, miniture golf, bumper boats and an indoor waterpark!!

This is actually a pic of Manuel and the kids shooting me with their lazer guns!! I know, can't really see them, oh well!

I didn't get any pics of the indoor water park cause we were tooo busy sliding down the gigantic slides and swimming in the wave pool!! Just use your imaginations ;-)
Overall, it was a lot of fun! I think that next time we will just plan a vacation for the Triple Play family fun park cause it was better for young kids and easier to keep all of them in check!!
I did miss my little Samuel though, next year he'll be able to go and join the fun! Thanks Tia Yanet for watching him :-)
