Indian Summer 5K Race

So I know that Shaina already posted about this, but I wanted it for my own documentation too.  Ashleigh, Shaina and I did another race together and afterwards went and got our feet done! It was called the Indian Summer race, a 5k it was.  As usual I was slow as can be, but at least I kept my pace and didn't stop for nothing.  I will get better, I just need a little time to work on it lol! Anyways, it was a lot of fun and I plan on doing more races with them as long as they don't mind!

It was so nice to get our feet done afterwards.  Ashleigh insisted on paying, bless her heart! I'll make up for it don't worry ;-)

Hairstyle blog or not?

Okay, so after posting sooo many different hairstyles that I've done on my girls' hair, I need to know if maybe I should just start a blog just for that? I was thinking that if I do, I could post the different ways I tweak hairstyles I get from different blogs or even the ones I come up with myself.  I could even demonstrate on video if I find the time to.  So after posting this post of more hairstyles could ya let me know whatcha think I should do?

So this one is called a twist braid.  It took me a little bit to catch on, but as soon as I did it was a piece of cake. 

I did one on both sides then pulled the rest of the hair into a french twist with the hair flipped out at the top.  I got it from Princesshairstyles.com!

I also got this one from Princesshairstyles.com.  It's called french braids with flair.

 This one I've done before, but I tweaked it a little this time by making it look like a headband instead of making two braids.

The nice thing about letting the girls sleep in there hair sometimes is that I can just take it out and it looks like this...



All I did was add a bow to the side and Voila!!



And To Think I Was His Second Choice

Good thing Manuel doesn't go with his first impulse, if he did then my sister Katie would be collecting a life insurance policy on him j/k lol.  Just to get under my skin Manuel likes to joke around with me and say that my sister Katie was his first choice.  I'll always know deep down inside that it isn't true though, cause the moment I walked out those KFC doors with my cheerleading skirt on he was HOOKED! We grew to have such a special bond together and just couldn't get enough of each other.  It was just meant to be! I'm so blessed to have him in my life. He's always spoiled the crap out of me it's not funny, down to the traveling all the way to North Carolina just to bring me back to be with him and all the beautiful things he's gotten me! And here we are 8 years and 5 beautiful kids later! I love you Manuel, Forever and For Always (that's our song hehe)!

Sam's Walking!

I can't believe how big my baby is getting.  He's now 10 months and starting to walk! He loves his brothers and sisters as you can tell especially Noah.  It's almost like they knew each other and played together in the pre-existence cause their like this (crossing my fingers).  He's been developing quite a little personality between his fake cries and his "cheesy" smile. To be honest, I kinda forgot when he started crawling:-( I think it was around 4-5 months? Guess I need to keep up more on this stuff lol.  Anyhow, he's in to anything and everything and I can barely keep up with him.  He's also decided that he loves his stuffed dinosaur and sometimes won't let it go for nothing. He's my little "chunky monkey" he now weighs 23lbs and eats like crazy, it's funny cause he has no teeth yet but seems to do just fine gumming everything. Yes you read that right, HE HAS NO TEETH Lol. Even though he was our little "surprise" we sure are blessed that we have him.  He completes our family. I love this little "man" of mine!

Trying Some New Hairstyles

Okay, so maybe some of these aren't new, but they are a little different than I did before. 

This one I got from Princesshairstyles.com but it didn't quite turn out like I had planned. It still looks cute though!

I did this braid before but this time I added an updo with it. 

This one was actually really fast and simple.  All you do is start with a ponytail then section another part and add another ponytail. I went down half ways and up half ways until they met in the middle.  I like the different colored rubber bands!
