The Girl's Hair

For those of you who know me, I love to do hair.  Being that I just had our little Samuel not to long ago, I have been having a hard time keeping up with the girl's hair like I usually have it.  So instead of having it all pretty, pretty, I've just had time to pull it back in plain ol' ponytails.  But this morning I was feeling a little ahead of schedule and thought I would be a little more creative with it like I used to be! Tell me what you think?

Okay so I'm a bit of a perfectionist and I can already see some imperfections...but not bad for only having 10 minutes to do it eh?!

Sweet Gravy for Aunt Amanda

This morning when I woke up Alayna wanted to know if I would make the stuff Auntie Amanda made for them when they were at her house visiting.  She kept saying "Mommy can you please make that white stuff that goes on the toast that Aunt Amanda made for us?" I swear she would tell me that every morning until finally I got what she was saying...(Oh, she means sweet gravy). Sweet gravy is a breakfast that my family and I grew up with.  My Grandma Ayling used to make it for my dad all the time so he passed it down to us. I can still remember the morning's that my dad would make it for us, mmm, mmm, mmm, so good. So I went ahead and made it for my kiddos since Auntie Amanda is not here anymore to make it for them :( So this one is for you Aunt Amanda! We miss you guys!

This is what Sweet Gravy looks like freshly made!

I had to put it on a plate to show you how it's eaten...doesn't it look so yummy?!

The kids enjoying every bit of it!

Alayna and Isaiah scarfing it down!

Arieanna too!

Noah trying it for the first time...mmm, mmm, mmm!

Alayna lost her first tooth!

Alayna came home from school and told me that her tooth was really loose! Well low and behold, that very same night she lost it!!

Yay Alayna...now the tooth fairy needs to come!

Samuel's blessing

To start of the year, we decided to bless our little baby Samuel.  Being that my sister Sarah had her baby Rachel 3 days before mine, we decided to do them together here in Grandview Ward.  For those of you that don't know Grandview Ward, it is not very big.  But with only some of my family there, we just about double the attendence! And that was only a fraction of us! Anywho, Manuel and Casey did a wonderful job on blessing the babies and it was a very spiritual day.  Here's a few pics of the event.

Baby Samuel in his Blessing outfit...Isn't he handsome!

Manuel's family was able to make it!
My mom and dad were there too!
Me, Sarah and our beautiful babies!
Afterwards we had family and friends over for a little fiesta...it was fun!!

Happy 4th Birthday Isaiah

Our little Isaiah turned 4 on January 18, 2011! Manuel got the day off so that we could do a little party for him, and this is what we did.
We let him choose what he wanted for lunch since it was his day and he chose Pizza Hut!

Then we had cake.  He wanted a batman cake and that's what he got.

We had Grandma and Grandpa Ayling over and they got him two motorcycle shirts with a pair of jeans. Grandma knows he loves motorcylce's just like his daddy!

And here's to the big surprise that Mommy and Daddy got him!

Even though it was pouring rain outside, he just couldn't resist getting outside with it to give his brother a ride!

So overall even though we didn't do a huge party, he loved every bit of what we did do.  Happy Birthday Baby!

Finally!

Okay, so for some time now I have been trying to get a family blog going so that I can journal about our little journey through life...well it's about time huh! I finally got it going, aren't you so proud of me?! If your not, I actually feel like I got something accomplished!! With that being said, I wanted to start this blog off with telling everyone about our little journey so far. I don't want to make this long so I'll try my best to keep it short and sweet.
It all started with me meeting the love of my life Manuel at work.  I worked at KFC/A&W and so did he, we both were not looking for love, it just happened! Then before I new it Manuel asked me to marry him (if you ask him, I asked him to marry me) and we got married the 20th of September, 2003. Wow...we have been married a long time! Anyhow, we had our first little girl Arieanna in March of 2004 and just kept popping them out, cause then came Alayna in May of 2005, Isaiah in January of 2007, Noah in August of 2009 and our little surprise Samuel in November of 2010. So when I say we kept popping them out, I meant it!! I do have to say that we have our hands full, but we love every bit of it!
I am currently tending to these beautiful kids of ours as Manuel works.  He works as an A.I tech. for a company called World Wide Sires and is the assistant trainer. For those of you who don't know what that is, he basically sticks his arm in cows butts and gets them prego's LOL...as gross and nasty as that sounds, it's no lie! But he loves his job and that's all that counts!
Well, that pretty much sums it up.  We have now been happily married for 8yrs. and have 5 kiddos, isn't that crazy! I can now officially say that we have completed our family though cause my hubby got the sniperoos!
Now that I finally got our family blog started, you can now experience our little adventure's with us!
