Braiding with a Twist

Here's a couple of new braids I've tried this summer!!

If you wanna know how to do it just ask me and I'll be more than glad to either explain it or show you ;-)

I plan to try a few more ideas that I have in my head.  Hopefully they workout so I can show ya!!







Swimming Party Anyone??

It's been alot of fun having a swimming pool! These last couple of days the weather has been perfect to just go jump in a nice cold pool!

Noah ran off in his swim diaper to go put Isaiah's rain boots on.  What a little ham he is!!

I didn't get to get pics of Sam and me in the water cause everyone was in the water and no one wanted to get out to take a pic...Sam had soo much fun though.  He really shocked me because usually my babies at 7 months old can barely even stay in the cold water for 5 minutes or so.  Not Samuel, he stayed in there for almost an hour and then it was time to get him out when his lips started turning blue!! It's nice to have a pool! Maybe in the future Manuel will finally give in and actually drop a pool in our backyard where the pond is.  Until then, this will have to do!!



Manuel's Birthday/Father's Day

Being that Father's Day and Manuel's Birthday (which is June 21st) are always around the same time every year we went ahead and just celebrated them together!! For Father's Day, the girls and boys got him some really cute cards.

Then for his Birthday, I got him this card...

When he opened the card, it played the song "I Swear" by John Michael Montgomery!

His Birthday present was this old truck for our RV camper! He really wanted it so that we can go camping with our kids this summer! I'll be posting more about the camper and the remodel we're doing on it later! For now, here's a pic of Manuel and his new old truck (lol)!

It's gonna be sooo much fun when we get to actually go on our family outings this summer.  Can't wait!!!

My Success So Far...

For those of you who know me, I have been working on getting healthy and fit since the day I had my little Samuel.  For some reason I get really big when I'm prego's...and when I say big, I don't just mean belly big, I get big all over!!! Anyhow, since having my baby (when I say baby, I literally mean he's the baby of the family) I started a blog with my all my sisters to motivate each other to be healthy and fit!! Let me tell you, it has helped all of us! We are all really succeeding in our goals to make it to the finish line and to keep it that way! So in doing so, I thought I would share my results so far in my journey of being healthy and fit!! 

Here's what I looked like right before I went in to have my little guy!

When I went in, I was weighing in at 196.  I know, that's a lot, but I told ya I get huge!!

Now here's my stats before and after.  When I say before, I mean back in February when I started the blog with my sisters! After having Samuel it took me a couple of months to actually get started.

Before:

Bust-39in

Waist-37in

Hips-45in

Butt-46in

RT(right thigh)-26 1/2in

Weight: 144.6

Bust: 35 in

So, there ya have it! I've lost a total of 31 lbs. since February and still counting!! I feel really great and hope to be back to my healthy and fit self before Sam turns 1 yr.  Wish me luck!!!



Bringing back Memories!

With Sarah and her family coming down for the weekend, Becky really wanted to get some girl time! So she came over to our house to play and spend a couple of nights with the girls! Man, watching them play together brought back soo many memories that I had growing up with my sisters Amanda and Sarah! It's so funny how they acted just like we did when we were younger! Just imagine us as you watch videos and look at pics that I got of them!!

Memorial Day Weekend!

For Memorial Day on the Ayling side of the family, we always do this big BBQ and play softball!! Always to follow is a big water fight too!! These last couple of years we've been going ahead of time to put flowers on the grave sites the Sunday before so we don't have to run into alot of people on the actual day. It gets pretty hectic other wise! Anywho, here's some pic's from this years Memorial Day!!

Didn't get any pics of the softball.  We didn't really get to play that long due to the weather, but there's always next year!! It was nice to see and spend time with family and friends! We had a blast!!
