Fun Filled Summer

Been a long time since I've posted anything due to being so busy and caught up in having such a fun Summer! To start off the summer, we celebrated Manuels Birthday! His birthday falls on the first day of summer which is the 21st of June.  We didn't do too much but make him a cake that he requested.  It's called a 7 min icing cake.  My mom actually grew up with this kind of frosting on her cakes cause it was the cheapest and easiest way to make frosting back in the day! Manuel fell in love with it when she made it at a family gathering and was in the mood for it for his b-day!

Guess I almost forgot about Fathers Day, which was a few days befor Manuel's B-day...The girls and I got together and made cute little gifts to make Dad and Grandpa's feel special!

To celebrate the 4th this year we got together at Grandma Ayling's house for a bbq and later went home to set off our own fireworks! This year I made the star in the girls hair along with glow sticks for at night!

 

At the end of July we had the Ayling Family Campout/reunion!! It was alot of fun! The theme this year was "Simply Beautiful Beautifully Simple" and we all felt that Hawiian went perfect with that!! We all did our own Hakes and sported hawiaan clothes! We also incorporated some food and activites that went along with it too!

 

 

Just thought I would share my brothers eye again...he got ctr on it!!

I thought these were sooo funny...as my fam pics were being taken I had no idea my sis was being silly in the backround lol!! Btw, Manuel couldn't make it this year due to work :-(

 

We had a blast catching up with family and can't wait for next year!!

 

My sis Amanda was able to stay with us a little longer after the campout.  So we swam in our swimming pool and did lots of fun things before she had to leave in August!

 

 

We sure do miss her and her little family already...but at least she's back in the States so we can go see her!!

The girls and I were able to go get some pedi's too during the summer! It's always fun to go and relax while someone pampers you! The girls really enjoyed it!

 

 

At the end of August we were able to Celebrate our Little Noah's birthday!!!

More on that since it deserves its own post!

 

Our Summer was filled with lots of family time and fun activities and we really enjoyed it!

Tanaya Hair!!

So I decided to try this cool new hairstyle out from Princesshairstyles.com.  It's called "spring rings".

When we took it out it was like a ringlet and it looked soo cute.  But then my sis in law wanted to see what it would look like if we pulled the ringlets all out.  Just as soon as we did she says "oh my goodness, you look like Tanaya!" We just all got a kick out of that! So we pulled her straight hair back and took a pic just for you Amanda and Tanaya!!!



Luau Party!

The Relief Society in our ward decided it was time to PARTY "Hawaiian style"!

We had such a fun time as we split up into classes to learn about cooking, scripture study and how to dance! It was quite a fun event and here are some pics to prove it!

Graduation and Wedding All in ONE Day!

So my nephew Josh and Rita set a record...they graduated from Granger High School, and then later on got married! They are soo cute and happy together!!

Congratulations to you two, hope you live a wonderful life together!!

Alayna's 7th Birthday!

On Alayna's birthday she had a field trip to the G'town library and the DQ! She wanted me to go with her in the worst way so I gave in and went!

After the tour, they went outside and played games!

This is not a very good pic, but this is her in the front of the class as they sing Happy Birthday!

Then we went home and gave her her present and that was that.

This year was a pretty low key birthday for her, but she still felt special! I love this beautiful little girl of mine.  She has developed such a fun personality that sometimes I look back and think "oh my goodness, did I really act like that" lol!

Been a While

So it's been a long while since I've been on here.  I've just been sooo busy and lots has been going on!

Here are a few things that's been going on...

First, the girls participated in a Talent Show that was put on by Harriet Thompson Elementary School! Their cousins were awesome enough to help them out too!

They performed a cheer dance routine that was choreographed by Arieanna!

Their little outfits were made by my sis Katie and I!

Then, Isaiah lost his first tooth. It actually wasn't ready but he made it ready when he decided to tear open a bag for a toy and knocked it loose!

So from there, we decided to use daddy's trick to pulling a loose tooth out which is tying dental floss to the tooth and letting the kid pull it out from there. 

Yard Sale!!!!!! Was another thing that was on our "to do" list!

I was going to have a yard sale right here in G'town, but with everything that I was planning on selling in S'side I just went ahead and did it there! 

The girls in the worst way wanted to sell lemonade and cookies, so we whipped up some chocolate chip cookies and no bakes along with their lemonade!

They actually didn't do too shabby.  They made $35 in one afternoon!

As for us, we made $300. Not too bad! Now the rest is going to Good Will!

Alayna's Birthday is another thing that we've been up to, but that deserves its own post along with my nephew Joshua's wedding!
