4th of July!

So we didn't really get to have a 4th of July shin dig due to just getting back from camping and then having to pack up again to go on the Ayling family campout.  So as I was unpacking then repacking, I went ahead and tried out this cute hairstyle on the girls!! Tell me whatcha think?

On Alayna's I did a straight line down the middle...

...on Arie's I tried to zigzag it to make it a little different.  Don't know if you can even tell the difference though.  Whatever, you get the gist!!! But can you tell what it is? Oh, and the hair things at the ends are supposed to give the firecracker look.

Camping with the Medrano's!

The weekend before 4th of July we went camping with Manuel's side of the family!! Poor Manuel had to work, so the kids and I just took off without him!! We went up towards Mt. Rainier at a place called La Wis Wis! Here's how our little trip went!

I first wanted to show this pic of Mt. Rainier that my sis-in-law got...

...the tree kinda killed it, oh' well! On to the rest of our adventure!

Sam's camping in luxury! He gets to sit in the comfort of his own high chair while his goofy mom feeds him!!

It's not camping if Tia Yanet's not there!

And again, Sam get to camp like he's right at home!!

The boys just chillin' with G'pa Medrano

Watermelon contest anyone?! It was sure good! Nice and juicy, just the way I like em' ;-)

Sam and his possible future girlfriend lol! Aren't they sooo cute?!

Who knew camping could be so fun?

S'more time!!

Me and Alayna getting ready to make breakfast

We decided to go on an adventure up the mountain and explore the beautiful scenery! We went to a place called Sunrise where there was a lot of snow! We actually saw a bear on the way there!! It was right on the side of the road.  So we stopped and got a pic. Isn't this crazy? I never thought I would be this close to a bear in my life!!

I just love water falls!! Here's one of many that we got to see!

The kids got to meet a Ranger and she gave them some booklets so they can earn their very own ranger badge!!

We went around in the gift shop trying things on! This onesie is so cute, but not cute enough to pay $28 for it.

Look at all this snow! There was a sign that said there was 8ft of it.  Man, that's alot!

Noah Nicholas loved the snow too!

Call me crazy, but I just had to try it out and I had flip flops on!!

Then the kids wanted to try to sled down on their butts!

Here's the crew together right before we went back to the camp!

And...a couple more pics just for the fun of it...

We had a lot of fun! Hopefully next time we go camping there daddy can come with us.  There's also a place by where we camped called Blue Hole that I want to go to.  Everyone I talk to about it says that it's fun to go swimming there!! Until next time!

Peace out!!
