Some more Hairstyles!

I decided to post this one cause it's fairly quick and easy! All you have to do is pull it back into a pony, split it into two braids, and twist it into a bun! Then add a little accessory for the finishing touches and Voila, it's done!!

Okay, so this one is not so quick, but if you do it the night before like I did, then all you have to do is get her up the next morning and curl the back!

It really isn't as difficult as it looks though.  The most time consuming part is parting it. But still, it's pretty simple! If you ever need me to show you, just ask;)

I'm sorry, I just couldn't resist putting these pics of Manuel doing the girls' hair! It was so nice of him to help me out while I made breakfast! He didn't do too shabby for a Daddy!

So whatcha think? I know, Manuel likes to run around in his G's (garments) at home.  But not to bad on the hairdo's eh?!

Soaking up some Sunshine!

My good friend Carina called the other day to see if we wanted to take advantage of the good weather and go out and play...Of course, I just couldn't turn down the offer!

It was sooo nice to soak up some sunshine and let the kids just play it out!! (Don't know if that made sense, but whatever you get what I'm trying to say lol!)

Later on that day, the girls came home from school and decided to do the same with their brothers.  Soak up the nice weather that is!

Grandview Ward Young Women's

For mutual, the young women decided to do a little hair and nail get together.  So Carina called me up and asked if I would show them some pointers on how they could do their hair.  I accepted and had a blast getting to know these beautiful young ladies! I went ahead and took my two little ones to demonstrate on and even got to do some of the young women's hair too!

I have to say that it was fun and I hope that I can have another opportunity to do it again! Love ya ladies!!

St. Patrick's Day

Haaaappppy St. Patrick's Day!!! My girls have been waiting for this day because they wanted me to try some new hairstyles that go along with today. So, I gave it a whirl and tried some different things.  This is what we came up with.  Note that I get most of my ideas from this website  princesshairstyles.com!

Arieanna's is supposed to be a three leaf clover!

Alayna's is supposed to be a rainbow with a pot of gold at the end (that's why I put a yellow chongo).

After all the chaos this morning I was having a little brain fart and put Noah's pants on wrong. But I managed to later get them right lol!

Well, I hope everyone enjoys their St. Patrick's  Day! I know I am (pinching the heck out of my husband, he's not wearing greeeen!)

The magic of Headbands & Bows

The other morning as I was getting the girls ready for school I started to feel a little lazy and didn't really want to do their hair.  So I was trying to think of something that I can do that was quick and simple.  Then that's when it dawned on me, headbands can do the trick.  So I quickly curled their hair and slapped a headband on each of their heads.  It's amazing how such a simple thing can make such a difference to a hairstyle! It's like poof your done!!

Alayna's headband wasn't as noticeable as Arieanna's, but it's still cute!

Another thing that I noticed as I was getting the girls ready this morning was the magic of Bows!! Of course I was lazy again and just pulled their hair back and slapped a bow in it...

...It's just sooo awesome how I can make a not so cute hair style look really cute with headbands and bows!!

Grandma Ayling's Birthday!

So I wanted to post this on her birthday which was on the 10th of March, but we all know how busy our lives can get especially with kiddos! Here are a few pics of what we did.

Here's a pic with all of her gifts!

Can you guess what this looks like lol!

My Dad can be so silly sometimes...that's where I get it from!

Arieanna got the toothpick from the cake...we all know what that means...she has to do dishes!

Noah was treating Aunt Tammy as if she were his mother...he would not let me even take him from her!
I really wish that I would have taken more pictures but hey, it's better to have some than none! Overall, we all had a great time spending another year with our Beautiful, Sweet, Tender Caring Awesome Mom! Happy Birthday Mom, Grandma, and Great Grandma Ayling!!

Teething!

Oh the joys of teething! Samuel has just been going crazy lately trying to find anything and everything to chew on.  Look for yourself!

On his bibs...

...on his finger...

...a little more of his fingers...

...and now his whole fist! Oh, that's not all...

...he's even chewing on the edges of his blankets and...

on G'ma Ayling's chin lol!

I can't wait to see what else he finds to chew on!

So here's the pic with Laynie's glasses...

...and here's a pic with Yaya's!
Also today while I was trying to post this, I went to find Noah doing this...

Hahahahaha isn't this just soo cute...

...when he was a baby he took really well to these binkies.  Then I started weaning him off of them and I swear he was weaned until Samuel came.  Now he's taking to them again, but getting a little creative with them Lol!

And I just couldn't post without posting a pic of Isaiah...

...I just couldn't leave him out!! He's so handsome!
